Here Is Where I Am

Here is where I wait for God to guide my pen, my typing fingers, my encourager’s heart.

Here is where I wait to step out on faith.

Here is where I listen for His whisper of love to tell me “I want to love through you, my child.”

Here is where “I Am.”

Here is where I always need to be. Right here waiting on Him.

Live Blessed,

Thanks! I just sent you an email from your blog because I couldn’t get my comment to post. My phone issue. :(

Thanks for the welcome and the encouragement! I look forward to connecting. This was fun!

I look forward to reading your beautiful blog!! Loved your poem. :)

WELCOME to FMF! I enjoyed reading your first entry with FMF and am thankful God has you HERE! I read other little bits on your blog and look forward to reading more. I understand the hard times, depression, and wandering to find Jesus.

Welcome to FMF, Heather. I’m a newbie myself. This is probably my 3rd or 4th time. I was apprehensive at first, but while in the hospital with my son, Lisa-Jo sent out the prompt: REST. I had to write. FMF has become one of my favorite posts to write…
Thank you for sharing. May God continue to ‘”love through you”!

Thank you Darlene! I tried to follow your blog and my phone was giving me trouble. Think I got it now!
I love this new way of connecting with others. :)
I can see why you love to do FMF. It is encouraging to read others thoughts on the same subject. Hope your son is well now.

      Blessings to you.

this was wonderful Heather…”where I listen for His whisper of love” . ahhh..nice.
still having trouble keeping it at 5 minutes. This is my third post and it takes me 20 minutes. Finished writing in 5 minutes but went back to add pix. Ughh! always learning. anyway..happy to have found you…here.

    • Heather Mertens - 40YearWanderer says:

Ha! I assumed pic and all in 5 so I hurried for that! LOL
God gifted me with writing quickly. So it just pours out like an over filled pitcher. I am blessed to experience something I love so much.

Can’t wait to read yours! Loving the “connect” with others over a shared topic! Thanks for pointing me in the right direction. :)

It won’t let me comment since it says I have to have Java. That won’t work on iPhones or even many Macs. You might want to change that so more people can comment. I mean to catch those who live on their phone. Haha!
Plus I don’t see a LIKE button for each post.

Welcome to FMF! It’s my most favorite link up AND writing challenge all rolled into one…plus you meet some amazing women along the way–you being one of them!

What a beautiful write, too. I was nodding furiously…
Looking forward to getting to know your heart.
All for Him with hugs to you,

    • Heather Mertens - 40YearWanderer says:

Thanks, Nikki, for the super sweet comment! I do look forward to reading more at your blog and connecting. I’m following yours so I look forward to you sharing more of Him. I do that too… it’s all in the relationship.
So glad He gives us God connections like this!
      Live blessed new friend,

This does look like a fun challenge. I just returned from spending a good part of two weeks with my daughter and family–trying to get caught up. Thanks for stopping by my blog.
